Christina was born on August
8, 1979. She was graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis
in 1997, and from the Honors College at Indiana University in 2001
with a degree in English. She bought a home in Indianapolis, and
is in management at BCForward, an IT consulting company.
My son-in-law Chris Nash proposed to Christina (after first discussing it with Jamise and I) at the end of a wonderful weekend we (David, Chris, Christina, and I) shared in New York last August. During the weekend, we ate, drank, went to a Yankee game, met Chris' family, and went to Broadway. On Sunday night, after a wonderful dinner, then Chris popped the question. On May 1, 2001, the perfect wedding happened, and it was so because of the love Chris and Christina have for each other.
Chris is a mechanical engineer at Rolls Royce. |

David was born on July 24,
1981. He also was graduated from North Central (in 2000), and from Elon University in North Carolina with a degree in
Communications. I came to NC for a visit in May, 2005. My friend Emily also lived nearby (in Carrboro.) What was intended to be a month turned out to be a move for me. For that year and a half, I got to spend a whole lot of quality time with both him and Emily (Em and I were roomates.) David and I had dinner at least a couple of time a week, and drank a few beers. What a wonderful time it turned out to be. How many dads get to spend that much time with their kids in their twenties? Ditto with Emily. she and I are really good friends, and became all the closer with 13 months in the same condo. After six months, I began to kid Emily and David that I would outlast both of them. I did. Emily went first. She got a job (which she still has) in Charlotte. David left a few months later for Indy. He is now an Account Executive with Antony Products, a medical products supplier. |

Christina and David are quite different people, but they both understand the
fundamentals of life: love, consideration for others, truthfulness,
and lots more. They let their Mom and Dad and their extended families
and their friends know every day in every way that their love
is unconditional. One can't ask for much more than that. They
make my life complete.
Chris is a great guy, a wonderful chef, and, I believe, a terrific husband and partner for Christina.
I was married to their mother, Jamise, for 20+ years. We remaining
close, both as parents and as friends. |
